마르틴 슈타트펠트, 피아니스트

마르틴 슈타트펠트는 1997년 파리 루빈스타인 콩쿠르에서 우승한 후 2001년 부조니 콩쿠르 파이널리스트, 2002년 라이프치히 국제 바흐 음악 콩쿠르에서 우승하면서 독일을 대표할 만한 대형 피아니스트로 성장하고 있다. 특히 바흐의 해석에 탁월한 결과물을 내고 있으며 슈베르트, 멘델스존 슈만의 작품에도 큰 성과를 거두고 있다. 소니클래식 전속 아티스트로 활동하는 마르틴은 수많은 앨범을 출반하였으며 몇 년 전부터 자신이 작곡한 작품을 발표해 왔다. 조금씩 내보인 그의 작품이 청중과 평론가들의 긍정적인 반응을 얻은 슈타트펠트는 드디어 본격적으로 소개할 계획을 세웠으며 2018년 투어 연주는 그 첫번째 시도다.

Piano Martin Stadtfeld

Martin Stadtfeld has established himself in the last 10 years as one of the leading interpreters of Johann Sebastian Bach's music and German Romanticism. In 2002 he won the first prize at the Bach Competition in Leipzig. A subsequently released at Sony Classical recording of the "Goldberg Variations" by Bach came in first place in the German classical charts and was awarded the Echo Klassik.

Concert performances lead him to the most important music centers and to the great orchestras of Europe and Asia. He performs with orchestras such as the Munich Philharmonic, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Wiener Symphoniker, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Prague, the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg u.v.m.

In addition to regular appearances on the major German concert podiums, he also performs in concert halls in Tokyo, the Seoul Arts Center, the National Center of Performing Arts in Beijing, the Vienna Konzerthaus and Musikverein, the Tonhalle Zurich, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and many other internationally renowned concert halls.

He is a regular at major festivals such as the Salzburg Festival, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lockenhaus Festival, Ljubljana Festival, Festival International Echternach, the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg and Hohenems and the Menuhin Festival Gstaad to guest.

A major concern of the artist is to enable children and adolescents in schools access to classical music. For example, during regular school visits, Martin Stadtfeld talks to his students about his work as a pianist, introduces them to the music and conveys the enthusiasm for classical music in a direct personal way outside of concert life.
