호른 라덱 바보락
호르니스트이자 지휘자인 라덱 바버락은 국제 클래식 음악계에서 가장 독특한 음악적 인물이다. 1989년에 솔로 데뷔를 한 후로 베를린 필하모닉, 뮌헨 필하모닉, 미토 체임버 오케스트라, 로얄 필하모닉 오케스트라, NHK 도쿄 등의 세계 유수 오케스트들, 다니엘 바렌보인과 사이먼 래틀, 세이지 오자와, 제임스 레바인, 니메 예르비와 같은 정상급 지휘자들과 협연해왔다. 그는 마르타 아르헤리치, 언드라시 시프, 예핌 브론프만, 다니엘 바렌보임, 에마뉘엘 파위, 세르게이 나카리아코프, 리카르도 갈리아노 등과 함께 실내악을 협연했다. 베를린 필하모닉에서 8년간 호른 수석을 지내고 다양한 실내악 및 솔로 연주회 경험을 쌓은 그는 2008년에 지휘자로서의 커리어를 시작했다. 직접 지휘하는 프로덕션을 통해 자신만의 예술적인 아이디어와 꿈을 펼치는 연주자 겸 지휘자들의 계보를 따른 것이다. 바버락의 멘토이자 롤 모델은 마에스트로 다니엘 바렌보임이다. 바버락은 서동시집 오케스트라에서 바렌보임을 보조했고, 그의 지휘 아래 솔로 연주를 했으며, 불레즈 앙상블 체임버 프로젝트에 참여하고 베를린 바렌보임-세드 아카데미의 교수를 지냈다.
Horn Radek Baborák
Radek Baborák, is one of the most distinctive musical personalities on the international classical music scene. Since his solo debut in 1989, he has collaborated with many world orchestras (Berlin Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonics, Mito Chamber Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic orchestra, NHK Tokyo, etc) and top conductors (Daniel Barenboim, Simon Rattle, Seiji Ozawa, James Levine, Neeme Järvi). His chamber music collaborations have included projects with Marta Argeritch, András Schiff, Yefim Bronfmann, Daniel Barenboim, Emanuell Pahud, Sergei Nakarjakov, Ricardo Galliano. After 8 years as a principal hornist of Berlin Philharmonic and enriched with a lot of experience in chamber music and solo performances, in 2008 he started to pursue a career as a conductor. This follows the tradition of conducting instrumentalists who decided to realise their artistic ideas and dreams in their own conducting production. Baborak's mentor and role model is mainly maestro Daniel Barenboim, to whom he assisted in the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, performing solo under his direction, participating in the Boulez Ensemble chamber projects, and working as a professor at the Barenboim-Said Academy in Berlin.
