소프라노 임선혜
소프라노 임선혜는 서울대학교 성악과를 졸업(박노경 사사)하고 독일학술교류처 DAAD 장학생으로 선발되어 독일 칼스루에 국립음악대학 최고연주자 과정을 졸업(롤란트 헤르만 사사)했다. 독일 유학 중이던 1999년 12월, 고음악의 거장 지휘자 필립 헤레베헤에게 발탁되어 유럽 무대에 데뷔 하였으며, 윌리엄 크리스티, 파비오 비온디, 지기스발트 쿠이켄 등 고음악 거장들을 비롯해 주빈 메타, 리카르도 샤이, 이반 피셔, 만프레드 호넥 등의 지휘자와 세계무대에서 활동 중이다.
르네 야콥스와의 모차르트 오페라 시리즈 5편을 비롯해 바흐의 주요 오라토리오 등 20여 편의 음반과 공연실황 DVD를 발매하였다. 그 외에 프랑스 ‘아르모니아 문디’에서 동양인 성악가 최초로 기획한 독집 앨범 <오르페우스>와 바흐, 헨델, 하이든, 모차르트만으로 편집한 <Portrait>가 있으며, 독일 브레멘 방송국과 ‘CPO’ 음반사가 공동 제작한 두 번째 독집 앨범 <Didone abbandonata>는 독일 일간지 프랑크푸르트 ‘알게마이네 차이퉁’에서 ‘탁월한 언어적 지성으로 노래의 정서를 풀어 낸다.’는 평을 받은 바 있고, ‘오푸스 클라식 2020’ 세 부문에 노미네이트 되었다. 최근 남서부방송국이 공동 제작하여 세계 최초로 선보이는 <어빈 슐호프> 가곡 전집을 발매하였으며, 2021년 ‘독일비평가상’을 수상했다.
Soprano Sunhae Im
Soprano Sunhae Im graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in vocal music (Prof. Park) and was selected as a DAAD scholarship student at the German Academic Exchange Agency and graduated from the top performance course at Karlsruhe National University of Music in Germany.
In December 1999, while studying abroad in Germany, she made her European debut chosen by the great conductor of early music, Philippe Herreweghe.
She is on the world-wide stage with the early music virtuoso William Christie, Fabio Biondi, Sigiswald Kuijken, including conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Chailly, Ivan Fischer, and Manfred Honeck.
She released more than 20 albums and live performance DVDs such as Bach’s major oratorio, including five Mozart opera series with Rene Jacobs. In addition, her solo album <Orpheus> (the original title: Orfeo[s]) was the first solo album of Asian vocalist that was produced by ‘Harmonia Mundi’ in France and <Portrait> edited with only Bach, Händel, Haydn, Mozart.
Her Second solo album <Didone abbandonata>, co-produced by Bremen Broadcasting Corporation and ‘CPO’ label, have been evaluated by German daily ‘Allgemeine Zeitung’ as ‘Unprecedented linguistic intelligence that unravels the emotions of the song’, and was nominated for three parts of ‘Opus Classic 2020’
Recently, she released complete collection of songs <Erwin Schulhoff>, presented for the first time in the world, which was co-produced by south and west Broadcasting Corporation of German, and she awarded 2021 ‘German Record Critics’ Award’.
