지휘자 윤호근

지휘자 윤호근은 독일 만하임 국립음대에서 관현악, 합창지휘, 실내악, 가곡반주를 전 과정 최우수 성적으로 졸업하였으며 이후 독일 기센 시립극장, 프랑크푸르트 시립극장에서 재직한 후 베를린 슈타츠 오퍼 음악감독 다니엘 바렌보임에게 어시스텐트로 발탁되었다. 그는 사이먼 래틀, 주빈 메타, 키릴 페트렌코 등과도 함께 여러차례 제작에 참여하였다.

2018년 귀국하여 12대 국립오페라단 예술감독을 역임하였으며. 국내외에서 오페라  <마술피리>,<라 트라비아타>,<라보엠> 등 주요 레퍼토리를 지휘하였다. 

현재는 한국 오페라 발굴 및 현대음악을 위한 기획제작 활동을 활발히 펼치고 있다. 

Conductor Ho gen Yun

Conductor Hogen Yun graduated from Musikhochschule Mannheim in Germany with the highest grade in Orchestral, Choral and Chamber music as well as Lied-Gestaltung. After working at the City Opera of Giessen and Frankfurt/M in Germany, he was selected as an assistant conductor to Daniel Barenboim, music director of the Staatsoper Berlin. He has also participated in several productions with Simon Rattle, Zubin Mehta and Kirill Petrenko. After returning to Korea in 2018, he worked as the 12th artistic director of the Korea National Opera. He has directed major repertoires of operas which include <Magic Flute>, <La Traviata>, and <La Boheme> etc. at home and abroad, and he is particularly active in promoting Korean operas and planning production for modern music.
