트럼펫 가보르 볼도츠키
가보르 볼도츠키는 각종 언론에서 트럼펫 비르투오소로 불리며, 동시대 가장 탁월한 실력을 자랑하는 트럼페티스트로 꼽힌다. 볼도츠키는 14세의 나이로 헝가리 내셔널 트럼펫 콩쿠르에서 우승을 차지하며 이름을 알리기 시작하였다. 그는 베이네르 레오 콘서바토리와 프란츠 리스트 음악대학을 졸업하였으며, 라인홀드 프리드리히를 사사하였다. 이후 ARD 국제 음악 콩쿠르와 모리스 앙드레 트럼펫 콩쿠르에서 우승을 차지하며 그 실력을 입증하였다.
볼도츠키는 바이에른 방송 교향악단과 마린스키 극장 오케스트라, 러시아 국립 오케스트라, 베를린 콘체르트하우스 오케스트라, 체코 필하모닉 오케스트라, 빈 필하모닉 오케스트라 등 세계 유수의 교향악단 및 실내악단과의 연주해오고 있다. 더불어 빈 무지크페라인과 암스테르담 로열 콘세르트헤바우, 베를린 필하모니, 파리 샹젤리제 극장, 루체른문화컨벤션센터, 뮈파 부다페스트 등의 주요 극장에 지속적으로 초청받으며 세계 무대를 누비고 있다.
그는 소니 클래시컬과 꾸준히 음반 작업을 하고 있으며, ‘오리엔탈 트럼펫 콘체르토’로 ICM 어워드에서 최고의 현대음악 음반상과 ECHO 클래식 어워드에서 올해의 연주자상을 수상하였다.
바흐와 비발디의 고전음악에서부터 힌데미트와 리게티, 펜데레츠키의 현대음악까지 방대한 레퍼토리를 자랑하는 볼도츠키는 현대음악에서 특히 활발한 활동을 보이고 있다. 기돈 크레머, 크레메라타 발티카와 함께 레 뮤지크 페스티벌(Festival Les muséiques)에서 조지 펠레시스의 ‘레벨레이션(Revelation 폭로; 요한계시록)’을 세계 초연하였고, 메클렌부르크포어포메른 페스티벌에서는 라슬로 두브로바이(László Dubrovay)의 트럼펫 협주곡을, 자르 뮤직 페스티벌에서는 크시슈토프 펜데레츠키의 첫 트럼펫 협주곡 세계 초연하였다.
가보르 볼도츠키는 프란츠 리스트 음악대학에서 자유 과목 박사(Doctor Liberalium Artium)로 임명되었다. 또한 헝가리 문화부의 프란츠 리스트 명예상을 수상하였으며, 헝가리 예술 아카데미(Hungarian Academy of Arts; Magyar Művészeti Akadémia)에서 올해의 음악가로 선정되기도 하였다. 최근에는 프란츠 리스트 음악대학에서 벨라 바르토크–디타 파스토리상을 수상하였다.
Trumpet Gábor Boldoczki
The Hungarian Gábor Boldoczki with his brilliant play is the exceptional trumpeter of his generation. The international press also calls him a magnificent trumpet virtuoso. At the age of 14 this young exceptional trumpeter won the first prize at the Hungary National Trumpet Competition. Following his studies at the Leo-Weiner-Conservatory, he continued to study at the Franz Liszt Conservatory under Reinhold Friedrich. He won the first prize at the ARD International Music Competition and the 3rd International Maurice André Trumpet Competition.
He performs with well-known orchestras like the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra, the Russian National Orchestra, Konzerthausorchestra Berlin, Czech Philharmonic, Vienna Symphony Orchestra as well as with chamber orchestras. Also, he regularly performs at the renowned concert halls such as Musikverein Vienna, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Philharmonie Berlin, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, KKL Lucerne, Müpa Budapest, among others.
Boldoczki recorded exclusively for the label SonyClassical. For his album “Oriental Trumpet Concertos“ he was honoured with the ICM Award for the best contemporary recording and with the ECHO Klassik Award as Instrumentalist of the Year.
For considerable time Boldoczki has been in demand for contemporary music. He accompanied for example Gidon Kremer and the Kremerata Baltica for the world premiere performance of Georg Pelecis’ “Revelation“ at the music festival Les muséiques. At the Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern he premiered the trumpet concert by László Dubrova and gave the world premiere of Krzysztof Penderecki’s first trumpet concerto at the Musikfestspiele Saar.
Gábor Boldoczki was awarded the title “Doctor Liberalium Artium” by the famous Franz-Liszt Music Academy and “Franz Liszt Honor Prize”, the most important prize of the Hungarian Ministry of Culture. He was also named “Musician of the year” by the Hungarian Academy of Arts. Lately Gábor Boldoczki received the Béla Bartók–Ditta Pásztory Award by the Franz Liszt Music Academy.
